one year later......


This is a piece I did for the VHS show downtown Calgary.  I was working in Z-brush and I found that if you mess around with shapes enough the file starts to break down.  It almost becomes like a bag of shattered glass.  I began to think of it as a ghost of a file...and thus the above image.

This is a painting of Jenn's Grandfather. Before he retired he was a farmer/prison guard and he has a 100% organic garden....awesome. He likes to collect old tools with obscure uses. He shows them to you and ask" now what do you think that was for?"

the left and the right


I have been trying to explore working without texture in my images. When textures don't work they tend to look like a band-aid for a bad image. They also mess with the saturation your colours. This is purely a digital image. I think it's the first time that I have done this. Although I still prefer to work with non-digital media, I like how easily you can explore colour in Photoshop.
